Our Huma MedTech team will be attending the MedTech Forum, held in Dublin, from 30th May - June 1st, and the largest health and medical technology industry conference in Europe.
If you’re planning to attend, don’t miss Huma’s “Ask the Expert” session, held in the Liffey Meeting room, at 3pm on the 31st May.
Rudolf Wagner, Huma's Head of Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs, and Alex Gilbert, Vice President of MedTech, will deliver an insightful discussion on how the regulatory framework for Software as a Medical Device contributes to the development of distinctive companion apps. This interactive session promises valuable insights from the team behind the first disease-agnostic EU MDR Class IIb certification.

Alex Gilbert, VP - Commercial
Alex has worked within the Digital Health industry alongside healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical device and tech organisations. He joined Huma as one of their first employees and leads their global MedTech practice. Huma is Europe's fastest-growing health organisation, having raised over 250 Million in funding to date whilst partnering with Smith & Nephew, Boston Scientific, Bayer, Stanford, AstraZeneca and many more. His passion is the use of technology to empower and engage the patient to take control of their care.
Tim Butler, Business Development Director, Companion Apps, MedTech
Tim is an experienced senior business leader with over 20 years in MedTech working for Medtronic and Boston Scientific. Rudolf Wagner, Global Director, Head of Quality and Regulatory
Rudolf is a detail-oriented and company success-focused leader with over 15 years of experience overseeing all aspects of operations management, quality and regulatory compliance management, team leadership, and relationship building within a fast-paced environment. He oversees development and submission of all regulatory applications to the FDA and other international regulatory bodies. Throughout his leadership roles, he played a critical role in company growth by devising and implementing effective strategies while providing excellent services to existing and new clients.

Huma joins digital pioneers to advance health equity in care and research
Chief Executive Officer and Founder, Dan Vahdat, is returning to the annual World Economic Forum’s main conference where he will join a panel discussion devoted to improving care for non-communicable disease and tackling health equity. Accompanied by Chief Financial and Strategy Officer, Ingeborg Oie, Dan is looking forward to connecting with other attendees to explore how Huma’s digital health platform can make healthcare more equitable, and advances proactive, predictive care.

Dan will join the Digital Health Action Alliance panel at Davos to discuss Turning the Tide in Non-Communicable Disease Care Through Digital Health and Community Connection. Huma has a long history of advancing the care of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) such as heart disease, cancer, diabetes and lung conditions. Huma’s innovative remote patient monitoring platform enables broad patient recruitment, reduces reliance on in-person clinic visits and increases health system efficiency.
