Huma Health Shield is an app that employees can use to help prevent COVID-19 from entering the workplace which limits further disruption so businesses can recover faster. Before coming to work, employees check if they are experiencing any symptoms, receive a personal risk assessment of developing serious complications and access official guidance on COVID-19 prevention.

Health Score

Each employee receives an assessment of their general health using a validated tool.

COVID-19 Severity Risk Score

Developed in partnership with Johns Hopkins, this provides a score for each employee as to their level of risk/likelihood in developing more severe illness should they get COVID-19.

COVID-19 Awareness Training

To ensure everyone has a baseline level of COVID-19 education, employees access accredited training as a first line of defence in fighting COVID-19.

COVID-19 Symptom Checker

Developed by Infermedica, the COVID-19 Symptom Checker provides employees advice about what to do next, based on the answers they provide.

Daily Check-in

Each day, employees will take the daily check-in to identify if they may have been exposed to COVID-19. The employee will be provided with suggested next steps based on their exposure risk.

Employees use the core modules of the Huma Health Shield app to complete a health and risk assessment, track their vital signs, and complete COVID-19 health and safety training. Additional modules like PCR swab tests and antibody testing kits can be integrated into the solution. There’s also the option of a web-based portal, in which occupational healthcare professionals can offer support to employees.
